गर्जंतं सोऽपि तं दृष्ट्वा प्रसर्पंतं च वीचिभिः । तामाह किमिदं भद्रे भीतो मे लवणोदधिः
garjaṃtaṃ so'pi taṃ dṛṣṭvā prasarpaṃtaṃ ca vīcibhiḥ | tāmāha kimidaṃ bhadre bhīto me lavaṇodadhiḥ
गर्जणारा आणि लाटांनी पुढे सरकणारा तो सागर पाहून तो देवीला म्हणाला— “भद्रे, हे काय? हा लवणोदधी माझ्यापासून भयभीत दिसतो.”
