ब्रह्मोवाच । अशोभनमिदं कार्यं युष्माभिर्यत्कृतं महत् । रुद्रस्यातिसुरूपस्य सेर्ष्या ये हन्तुमुद्यताः
brahmovāca | aśobhanamidaṃ kāryaṃ yuṣmābhiryatkṛtaṃ mahat | rudrasyātisurūpasya serṣyā ye hantumudyatāḥ
ब्रह्मा म्हणाले—तुम्ही जे मोठे कृत्य केले आहे ते शोभणारे नाही; ईर्ष्येने प्रेरित होऊन तुम्ही अतिसुंदर रुद्राला मारण्यास उद्यत झाला होता।
