प्रार्थनाभङ्गभीताश्च ततो देवाः सवासवाः । प्रणष्टास्तान्सुरान्दृष्ट्वा ब्राह्मणाश्चानुवव्रजुः
prārthanābhaṅgabhītāśca tato devāḥ savāsavāḥ | praṇaṣṭāstānsurāndṛṣṭvā brāhmaṇāścānuvavrajuḥ
ब्राह्मणांची मागणी निष्फळ ठरेल या भीतीने इंद्रासह देव अंतर्धान पावले; ते देव नाहीसे होताना पाहून ब्राह्मणही त्यांच्या मागोमाग गेले।
