अमरत्वमनुप्राप्तो वर्द्धते सलिलालये । तं दृष्ट्वा त्रिदशाः सर्वे स्पर्द्धमाना मुहुर्मुहुः । ज्ञात्वामृतान्वितं तोयं मंत्रं चक्रुर्भयान्विताः
amaratvamanuprāpto varddhate salilālaye | taṃ dṛṣṭvā tridaśāḥ sarve sparddhamānā muhurmuhuḥ | jñātvāmṛtānvitaṃ toyaṃ maṃtraṃ cakrurbhayānvitāḥ
अमरत्व प्राप्त करून तो जलालयात वाढू लागला। त्याला पाहून सर्व त्रिदश वारंवार स्पर्धा करू लागले; पाणी अमृतयुक्त आहे हे जाणून ते भयभीत होऊन एक मंत्र रचू लागले।
