ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि हिरण्यां पापनाशिनीम् । सर्वकामप्रदां पुण्यां दारिद्र्यस्यांतकारिणीम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi hiraṇyāṃ pāpanāśinīm | sarvakāmapradāṃ puṇyāṃ dāridryasyāṃtakāriṇīm
ईश्वर म्हणाले—हे महादेवी! त्यानंतर पापनाशिनी हिरण्या (नदी) येथे जावे; ती पुण्यदायिनी, सर्वकामप्रदा आणि दारिद्र्याचा अंत करणारी आहे।
