nairṛtye tu trikoṇaṃ vai vartulaṃ paścimena tu | ṣaṭkoṇaṃ caiva vāyavye padmākāraṃ tathottare

नैरृत्य (दक्षिण-पश्चिम) दिशेस त्रिकोणी कुंड करावे, पश्चिमेस वर्तुळाकार कुंड. वायव्य (उत्तर-पश्चिम) दिशेस षट्कोणी, आणि उत्तरेस पद्माकार कुंड स्थापावे.
