ततः प्रभृति तत्क्षेत्रं प्रभासमिति विश्रुतम् । निष्प्रभस्य प्रभा दत्ता प्रभासं तेन चोच्यते
tataḥ prabhṛti tatkṣetraṃ prabhāsamiti viśrutam | niṣprabhasya prabhā dattā prabhāsaṃ tena cocyate
त्या वेळेपासून ते क्षेत्र ‘प्रभास’ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध झाले. जो निष्प्रभ झाला होता त्याला प्रभा दिली गेली; म्हणून त्यास ‘प्रभास’ म्हणतात.
