जृंभः षष्ठोनुजस्तेषां स्मृताः प्रह्रादसूनवः । शुंभश्चैव निशुंभश्च गवेष्ठिनः सुतौ स्मृतौ
jṛṃbhaḥ ṣaṣṭhonujasteṣāṃ smṛtāḥ prahrādasūnavaḥ | śuṃbhaścaiva niśuṃbhaśca gaveṣṭhinaḥ sutau smṛtau
त्यांच्यात जृंभ हा सहावा धाकटा भाऊ म्हणून स्मरणात आहे; ते प्रह्लादाचे पुत्र म्हणतात. तसेच शुंभ व निशुंभ हे गवेष्ठीचे पुत्र मानले जातात।
