उदङ्मुखस्तु देवानां पितॄणां दक्षिणामुखः । अग्निना भस्मना वापि यवेनाप्युदकेन वा । द्वारसंक्रमणेनापि पंक्तिदोषो न विद्यते
udaṅmukhastu devānāṃ pitṝṇāṃ dakṣiṇāmukhaḥ | agninā bhasmanā vāpi yavenāpyudakena vā | dvārasaṃkramaṇenāpi paṃktidoṣo na vidyate
देवकर्मात उत्तरमुख व पितृकर्मात दक्षिणमुख असावे. अग्नीने, भस्माने, यवाने, पाण्याने किंवा केवळ द्वार ओलांडून शुद्धी केली तरी पंक्तिदोष होत नाही.
