क्षीरिणी वापि चित्रा गौस्तत्क्षीरायद्घृतं भवेत् । तद्दौहित्रमिति प्रोक्तं दैवे पित्र्ये च कर्मणि
kṣīriṇī vāpi citrā gaustatkṣīrāyadghṛtaṃ bhavet | taddauhitramiti proktaṃ daive pitrye ca karmaṇi
दूध देणारी—चित्री असली तरी—गाय तिच्या दुधापासून जे तूप होते, ते ‘दौहित्र’ असे सांगितले आहे; दैवकर्म व पितृकर्म दोन्हीत तेच प्रशस्त आहे.
