त्वं पुनः कुब्जरूपश्च यज्ञपूजापरायणः । न च प्राप्नोषि वृक्षाणां शाखाग्राण्यतियत्नवान्
tvaṃ punaḥ kubjarūpaśca yajñapūjāparāyaṇaḥ | na ca prāpnoṣi vṛkṣāṇāṃ śākhāgrāṇyatiyatnavān
परंतु तू कुब्जरूप आहेस; यज्ञ व पूजा यांत परायण असूनही, अतिशय प्रयत्न केला तरी वृक्षांच्या फांद्यांच्या टोकांपर्यंत पोहोचू शकत नाहीस।
