शिव उवाच । शृणु यत्कारणं तत्र तेषां तव तपस्विनाम् । व्रतचर्याप्तये विप्राः पूजयन्त्यधिकं हि ते
śiva uvāca | śṛṇu yatkāraṇaṃ tatra teṣāṃ tava tapasvinām | vratacaryāptaye viprāḥ pūjayantyadhikaṃ hi te
शिव म्हणाला—“ऐक, तेथील त्या तपस्व्यांविषयी कारण सांगतो. व्रतचर्येची सिद्धी व्हावी म्हणून ते विप्र तुझ्यापेक्षा अधिक पूजन करतात.”
