तस्य तुष्टो महादेवो वयसोऽन्ते वरं ददौ । परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते मंके ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते
tasya tuṣṭo mahādevo vayaso'nte varaṃ dadau | parituṣṭo'smi te maṃke brūhi kiṃ karavāṇi te
त्याच्या तपाने प्रसन्न होऊन महादेवाने आयुष्याच्या शेवटी वर दिला—“मंके, मी तुझ्यावर पूर्ण संतुष्ट आहे; सांग, तुझ्यासाठी मी काय करू?”
