ईश्वर उवाच । एवं विध्वंसिते यज्ञे गतास्ते ब्राह्मणा गृहम् । अप्राप्तकामना देवि ये चान्ये तत्र वै गताः
īśvara uvāca | evaṃ vidhvaṃsite yajñe gatāste brāhmaṇā gṛham | aprāptakāmanā devi ye cānye tatra vai gatāḥ
ईश्वर म्हणाले—अशा रीतीने यज्ञ उद्ध्वस्त झाल्यावर ते ब्राह्मण घरी गेले; आणि हे देवी, जे इतर तेथे आले होते तेही इच्छा अपूर्ण राहून निघून गेले।
