आश्वयुक्छुक्लपक्षे तु नवम्यां नियतात्मवान् । यस्ताः पूजयते मातॄर्विधिना भावितात्मवान्

āśvayukchuklapakṣe tu navamyāṃ niyatātmavān | yastāḥ pūjayate mātṝrvidhinā bhāvitātmavān

आश्वयुज शुक्लपक्षातील नवमीस संयमी पुरुष विधिपूर्वक, शुद्ध व एकाग्र मनाने त्या मातृदेवींंची पूजा करतो—
