īśvara uvāca | prakṛtitvānna paśyaṃti siddhā hyete mahātapāḥ | evamuktā tu girijā devedevena śūlinā
Śiva (Īśvara, Śūlin)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Girijā (Pārvatī/Gaurī)
Scene: Śiva (Śūlin) calmly explains to Girijā that the great siddha-ascetics do not ‘see’ her because she stands in a natural, unassuming form; the setting suggests a sacred grove or tīrtha precinct in Prabhāsa.
The divine can be concealed or revealed depending on form and the perceiver’s state; siddhas perceive differently than ordinary beings.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where siddhas are portrayed as present and spiritually potent.
None directly; it provides a theological explanation about perception and form.
