ajāya lokatrayabhāvanāya bhūtātmane gopataye vṛṣāya | namo mahākāruṇikottamāya sūryāya vastuprabhavālayāya

अज, त्रैलोक्याचे पालन करणारा, सर्वभूतांचा अंतरात्मा, प्रजांचा गोपता व धर्मस्वरूप वृषभ—अशा सूर्यदेवाला नमस्कार। महाकरुणेत श्रेष्ठ, सर्व तत्त्वांच्या उद्गमाचे आश्रयस्थान सूर्याला प्रणाम।
