ब्रह्मचर्येण सत्त्वेन तथाऽलुब्धतयापि वा । जितं जगद्धारयन्तो धृतराष्ट्रा मतास्तु ये
brahmacaryeṇa sattvena tathā'lubdhatayāpi vā | jitaṃ jagaddhārayanto dhṛtarāṣṭrā matāstu ye
जे ब्रह्मचर्य, सात्त्विकता आणि अलोभ यांद्वारे जणू जग जिंकून ते धारण करतात—ते ‘धृतराष्ट्र’ (जगधारक) असे मानले जातात.
