yugeyuge śodhayettāṃstena kaṃṭakaśodhinī | āśvayukchuklapakṣe tu navamyāṃ tāmathārcayet

Translation

युगायुगांत ती त्या कण्टकांसारख्या उपद्रवांचे शोधन करून त्यांचा नाश करते; म्हणून तिला कण्टकशोधिनी म्हणतात. आश्वयुज शुक्लपक्षातील नवमीस तिचे भक्तिभावाने पूजन करावे.
