आदित्यवर्णो भुवनस्य गोप्ता अपूर्व एष प्रथमः सुराणाम् । हिरण्यगर्भः पुरुषो महात्मा स पठ्यते वै तमसः परस्तात्
ādityavarṇo bhuvanasya goptā apūrva eṣa prathamaḥ surāṇām | hiraṇyagarbhaḥ puruṣo mahātmā sa paṭhyate vai tamasaḥ parastāt
आदित्यसदृश तेजस्वी, भुवनांचा रक्षक—अपूर्व, देवांमध्ये प्रथम—तो हिरण्यगर्भ, महात्मा पुरुष आहे; तो खरोखर तमसाच्या (अंधाराच्या) पलीकडे म्हटला जातो.
