ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः

tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ

मग चतुर्मुख ब्रह्मा हर्षित होऊन ते (पुष्प) घेऊन, हजार वर्षांच्या शेवटी पुन्हा भूमिपृष्ठावर आला. त्याने विष्णूला दाखवून म्हटले—“हे लिंगाच्या शिखरावरून आहे.”
