प्रायो मृतो मृतप्रायः शेषोऽभूद्धरणीतले । नष्टा अरण्यजा ग्राम्याः पशवः पक्षिणो मृगाः
prāyo mṛto mṛtaprāyaḥ śeṣo'bhūddharaṇītale | naṣṭā araṇyajā grāmyāḥ paśavaḥ pakṣiṇo mṛgāḥ
पृथ्वीवर जे उरले होते, ते बहुतेक मृत किंवा मृतवत झाले होते. वनातील आणि गावातील पशू, पक्षी आणि प्राणी सर्व नष्ट झाले होते.
