ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने
yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune
ययाति म्हणाले: हे भगवन्! हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! प्राचीन काळी अग्निदेव कोणत्या कारणामुळे लुप्त झाले होते? आणि ते तिथेच पुन्हा कसे प्राप्त झाले? हे महामुने, मला हे जाणून घेण्याचे मोठे कुतूहल आहे.
