atha ciṃtāparo vipraḥ prāyaścittabhayāddhruvam | vīkṣāṃcakre vane tasminsameṣu viṣameṣu ca

मग तो तो ब्राह्मण चिंतेने व्याकुळ झाला; निश्चयच प्रायश्चित्ताच्या भयामुळे त्याने त्या वनात सपाट व खडतर सर्व ठिकाणी शोध घेतला।
