समादाय पितॄंस्तर्प्य यावदग्नौ जुहोति सः । तावद्वह्निः परित्यज्य समस्तमपि भूतलम्
samādāya pitṝṃstarpya yāvadagnau juhoti saḥ | tāvadvahniḥ parityajya samastamapi bhūtalam
ते घेऊन त्याने पितरांचे तर्पण केले आणि अग्नीत आहुती देऊ लागला; तो ज्या वेळेपर्यंत होम करीत होता, त्या वेळेपर्यंत वह्नी आपले स्थान सोडून सर्व भूतलावर पसरला।
