सूत उवाच । तदन्वयसमुत्थायाः कन्यकायाः करेण यः । पादुकाभ्यां नरः पूजां प्रकरोति समाहितः । इह लोके सुखं प्राप्य स स्यात्प्रेत्य सुखान्वितः
sūta uvāca | tadanvayasamutthāyāḥ kanyakāyāḥ kareṇa yaḥ | pādukābhyāṃ naraḥ pūjāṃ prakaroti samāhitaḥ | iha loke sukhaṃ prāpya sa syātpretya sukhānvitaḥ
सूत म्हणाले—जो पुरुष त्या वंशसमुद्भव कन्येच्या हाताने, एकाग्र मनाने, पवित्र पादुकांची पूजा करतो, तो या लोकी सुख प्राप्त करतो आणि मृत्यूनंतर परलोकीही सुखयुक्त होतो।
