yāvadvarṣaśataṃ sāgraṃ na ca tuṣṭā sureśvarī | tato vairāgyamāsādya vāṃchaṃtyau svatanukṣayam

संपूर्ण शंभर वर्षे उलटूनही सुरेश्वरी प्रसन्न झाली नाही. तेव्हा वैराग्य प्राप्त करून त्या दोघींनी आपल्या देहक्षयाचीच इच्छा केली.
