एवं तज्जलपानेन तेजोवीर्यसम न्वितः । कश्यपाद्गरुडो जज्ञे सर्वसर्पभयावहः
evaṃ tajjalapānena tejovīryasama nvitaḥ | kaśyapādgaruḍo jajñe sarvasarpabhayāvahaḥ
अशा रीतीने त्या जलपानाने तेज व वीर्ययुक्त गरुडाचा कश्यपापासून जन्म झाला; तो सर्व सर्पांना भयकारक ठरला.
