त्यानंतर इंद्रावर विजय मिळविण्याच्या इच्छेने तो देवालयास गेला आणि युद्धात सहस्रनेत्र इंद्राच्या नेतृत्वाखालील देवांना पराङ्मुख करून माघार घ्यायला लावले।
