एवं वैराग्यमापन्नो गिरिमारुह्य वासवः । यावत्क्षिपति चात्मानं मरणे कृतनिश्चयः
evaṃ vairāgyamāpanno girimāruhya vāsavaḥ | yāvatkṣipati cātmānaṃ maraṇe kṛtaniścayaḥ
अशा प्रकारे वैराग्याने ग्रस्त वासव पर्वतावर चढला. मरणाचा निश्चय करून तो स्वतःला खाली झोकून देण्यास उद्यत झाला।
