इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
इंद्र म्हणाला—हे चतुर्मुखा! माझे शरीर पापयुक्त आहे, ब्रह्मवधातून उत्पन्न झालेल्या चिन्हांनी ते चिन्हित आहे, हे मला माहीत आहे। म्हणून मला शुद्धीचा उपाय सांग।
