वरुपूजोपहारैश्च नैवेद्यैर्विविधैस्ततः । ततो वर्षसहस्रांते स दैत्यो दुःखसंयुतः
varupūjopahāraiśca naivedyairvividhaistataḥ | tato varṣasahasrāṃte sa daityo duḥkhasaṃyutaḥ
तेथे तो वर-पूजेचे उपहार आणि नानाविध नैवेद्य अर्पून आराधना करीत राहिला; तरी हजार वर्षांती तो दैत्य दुःखयुक्तच राहिला.
