स दृष्ट्वा स्वाश्रमं ध्वस्तं पुलिन्दैर्बहुशो वृतम् । लकुटाश्मप्रहारैस्तु तां धेनुं जर्जरीकृताम्
sa dṛṣṭvā svāśramaṃ dhvastaṃ pulindairbahuśo vṛtam | lakuṭāśmaprahāraistu tāṃ dhenuṃ jarjarīkṛtām
त्याने आपला आश्रम उद्ध्वस्त झालेला व अनेक पुलिंदांनी सर्व बाजूंनी वेढलेला पाहिला; आणि काठ्या व दगडांच्या प्रहारांनी ती धेनू जर्जर झालेलीही पाहिली।
