जमदग्निरुवाच । होमधेनुरियं राजन्ममैका प्राणसंमता । अदेया सर्वदा पूज्या तस्मान्नार्हसि याचितुम्
jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum
जमदग्नी म्हणाले—हे राजन्, ही माझी होमधेनू, प्राणासमान प्रिय अशी माझी एकमेव निधी आहे. ही कधीही दान देण्यास योग्य नाही, सदैव पूज्य आहे; म्हणून तू हिला मागू नये।
