अथ सा भ्रममाणाऽत्र क्षेत्रे प्राप्ता तृषार्दिता । मध्यंदिनगतेसूर्ये ज्येष्ठमासे सुदारुणे
atha sā bhramamāṇā'tra kṣetre prāptā tṛṣārditā | madhyaṃdinagatesūrye jyeṣṭhamāse sudāruṇe
मग ती भटकत-भटकत तहानेने व्याकुळ होऊन या क्षेत्रात आली—ज्येष्ठ महिन्याच्या अत्यंत दाहक काळात, सूर्य मध्यान्ही असताना.
