tatastaṃ tejasā hīnaṃ durgaṃdhena samāvṛtam | brahmahatyodbhavaiścihnairanyairapi pṛthagvidhaiḥ

मग त्यांनी त्याला तेजहीन, दुर्गंधीने आच्छादित, ब्रह्महत्येतून उत्पन्न झालेल्या चिन्हांनी व इतरही अनेक प्रकारच्या वेगळ्या कलंकांनी युक्त असे पाहिले।
