प्रायश्चित्तं बुधैरुक्तं व्रतिनां स्त्रीवधे कृते । न संगात्तु पुनस्तासां तस्मात्त्वं गन्तुमर्हसि
prāyaścittaṃ budhairuktaṃ vratināṃ strīvadhe kṛte | na saṃgāttu punastāsāṃ tasmāttvaṃ gantumarhasi
बुधांनी सांगितले आहे—व्रती पुरुषांकडून स्त्रीवध झाला तरी त्याचे प्रायश्चित्त आहे; पण त्यांच्याशी पुन्हा संग करण्याचे प्रायश्चित्त नाही. म्हणून तू निघून जाणे योग्य आहे.
