मया चास्य प्रतिज्ञातं सप्तद्वीपवतीं महीम् । प्रभ्रमिष्याम्यहं यावन्मेध्यत्वं त्वमुपेष्यसि
mayā cāsya pratijñātaṃ saptadvīpavatīṃ mahīm | prabhramiṣyāmyahaṃ yāvanmedhyatvaṃ tvamupeṣyasi
आणि मी त्याला प्रतिज्ञा केली आहे की सात द्वीपांसह या पृथ्वीवर मी तोपर्यंत भ्रमण करीन, जोपर्यंत तू मेध्यत्व—यज्ञकर्मास योग्य अशी पवित्रता—प्राप्त करीत नाहीस.
