सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा विश्वामित्रो मुनीश्वरः । वसिष्ठस्पर्धयोवाच मुनिमध्ये व्यवस्थितः
sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā viśvāmitro munīśvaraḥ | vasiṣṭhaspardhayovāca munimadhye vyavasthitaḥ
सूत म्हणाले—त्याचे वचन ऐकून मुनिश्रेष्ठ विश्वामित्र, वसिष्ठाशी स्पर्धेने प्रेरित होऊन, मुनिमंडळात उभा राहून बोलला.
