तेन पूर्वं पिताऽस्माकं पृष्टो दुर्वाससा द्विजाः । मंत्रवादकृते यच्च शृणुध्वं सुसमाहिताः
tena pūrvaṃ pitā'smākaṃ pṛṣṭo durvāsasā dvijāḥ | maṃtravādakṛte yacca śṛṇudhvaṃ susamāhitāḥ
हे द्विजहो, पूर्वी दुर्वासांनी आमच्या पित्याला मंत्रविद्येच्या साधनेविषयी विचारले; त्यांनी जे सांगितले ते तुम्ही एकाग्रचित्ताने ऐका।
