जमदग्निरुवाच । योऽर्थं प्राप्याधमो विप्रः शोचितव्येपि हृष्यति । न च पश्यति मन्दात्मा नरकं चा कुतोभयः
jamadagniruvāca | yo'rthaṃ prāpyādhamo vipraḥ śocitavyepi hṛṣyati | na ca paśyati mandātmā narakaṃ cā kutobhayaḥ
जमदग्नी म्हणाले—अधम ब्राह्मण धन मिळवून शोक करण्याजोग्या गोष्टींतही हर्ष मानतो; तो मंदात्मा नरक पाहत नाही, मग त्याला भय कुठून येईल?
