नंतर तो दिवस-रात्र आळस न करता आराधना करू लागला; बलि, पूजा-उपहार, दान-प्रस्तुती तसेच गीत, वाद्य आणि इतर भक्ती-आचरणांनी (शिवाला) तुष्ट करू लागला।
