Type: kund
Scene: Yājñavalkya arrives at a serene lake fringed with trees; he performs ritual bathing with controlled posture; afterward he sits composed, eyes half-closed, radiating regained purity.
When inner clarity is lost, tīrtha-bathing performed with proper observance restores purity and mental steadiness.
Viśvāmitra-hrada—the auspicious sacred lake associated with the sage Viśvāmitra.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at Viśvāmitra-hrada performed ‘vidhānena’—according to prescribed procedure.
