स हतस्तेन वज्रेण दानवो भस्मसाद्गतः । शक्रोपि हतमज्ञात्वा भयात्तस्याथ दुद्रुवे
sa hatastena vajreṇa dānavo bhasmasādgataḥ | śakropi hatamajñātvā bhayāttasyātha dudruve
त्या वज्राने आघात होऊन तो दानव मारला गेला व भस्म झाला. परंतु शक्र (इंद्र) तो हत झाला हे न कळून, त्याच्या भयाने तेव्हा पळून गेला.
