यम उवाच । असंख्या नरका विप्र यथा प्राणिगणाः क्षितौ । कृत्स्नशः कथितुं शक्या नैववर्षशतैरपि
yama uvāca | asaṃkhyā narakā vipra yathā prāṇigaṇāḥ kṣitau | kṛtsnaśaḥ kathituṃ śakyā naivavarṣaśatairapi
यम म्हणाला—हे विप्रा! नरक असंख्य आहेत, जसे पृथ्वीवर प्राण्यांची संख्या असंख्य आहे. त्यांचे संपूर्ण वर्णन शेकडो वर्षांतही शक्य नाही.
