अश्वत्थः सर्ववृक्षाणां पवित्रो मंगलान्वितः । मुक्तिदो रोपितो ध्यातश्चातुर्मास्येऽघनाशनः
aśvatthaḥ sarvavṛkṣāṇāṃ pavitro maṃgalānvitaḥ | muktido ropito dhyātaścāturmāsye'ghanāśanaḥ
सर्व वृक्षांमध्ये अश्वत्थ पवित्र व मंगलमय आहे। तो रोपला व ध्यान केला असता मुक्तिदायक ठरतो आणि चातुर्मास्यात विशेषतः पापांचा नाश करतो।
