तस्माद्दीपप्रदानेन प्रीयतां मे जनार्दनः । अयं पौराणजो मंत्रो वेदर्चेन समन्वितः । दीपप्रदाने सकलः प्रयुक्तो नाशयेदघम्
tasmāddīpapradānena prīyatāṃ me janārdanaḥ | ayaṃ paurāṇajo maṃtro vedarcena samanvitaḥ | dīpapradāne sakalaḥ prayukto nāśayedagham
म्हणून दीपदानाने माझा जनार्दन प्रसन्न होवो। हा पौराणिक मंत्र वेदस्तुतीने युक्त आहे; दीपदानात सम्यक्प्रयुक्त झाला असता पाप नष्ट करतो।
