सूत उवाच । शृणुध्वं मुनयः सर्वे चातुर्मास्यव्रतोद्भवम् । माहात्म्यं विस्तरेणैव कथयिष्यामि वोऽग्रतः
sūta uvāca | śṛṇudhvaṃ munayaḥ sarve cāturmāsyavratodbhavam | māhātmyaṃ vistareṇaiva kathayiṣyāmi vo'grataḥ
सूत म्हणाले—हे सर्व मुनीहो! चातुर्मास्यव्रताची उत्पत्ती ऐका. याचे माहात्म्य मी तुमच्या समोर सविस्तर सांगणार आहे.
