यथा काक यवाः प्रोक्ता यथारण्यास्तिलोद्भवाः । नाममात्रप्रसिद्धाश्च तथा ते मानवा भुवि
yathā kāka yavāḥ proktā yathāraṇyāstilodbhavāḥ | nāmamātraprasiddhāśca tathā te mānavā bhuvi
जसे ‘काक-यव’ म्हणून सांगितले जाते आणि जसे रानात उगवलेले तीळ—केवळ नावाने प्रसिद्ध—तसेच असे मानवही पृथ्वीवर फक्त नाममात्र प्रसिद्ध असतात।
