संपूजयसि चौर्येण तेन प्राणान्हराम्यहम् । एवमुक्त्वाथ खड्गेन तं जघान स दैत्यपः
saṃpūjayasi cauryeṇa tena prāṇānharāmyaham | evamuktvātha khaḍgena taṃ jaghāna sa daityapaḥ
'तू लपूनछपून पूजा करतोस, म्हणून मी तुझे प्राण हरण करीन.' असे म्हणून त्या दैत्यराजाने त्याच्यावर तलवारीने वार केला.
